Vikki Boyd launched her professional dog training career in 2010 with a clear goal—to do things the right way. Rather than simply hanging up a shingle and putting up a website, she committed to earning her CCPDT-KA certification from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, the world’s only internationally accredited organization dedicated to upholding rigorous standards and humane, science-based training methods.
As a force-free trainer, Vikki adheres to the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) methodology and is also a Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI) with Do More With Your Dog (DMWYD), the largest trick training organization globally. Her love for creative dog sports, including tricks and canine freestyle (dancing to music), led her to achieve first place in breed at the AKC National Trick Dog Championship in 2024 with her English Springer Spaniel, showcasing her skills in AKC trick dog testing in Reno.

She leads ActiveMSers for the Northern Nevada MS Chapter, she encourages individuals with MS to stay active both socially and physically, advocating that knowledge is power in managing chronic disease.
In her spare time Vikki volunteers to train dogs at Truckee Meadows Dog Training club. She enjoys yoga, meditation, fitness, and reading what she calls "nerd" library. She loves old fashioned baking and preparing healthy meals for her and her husband. On snowy days, you’ll find her curled up on the couch with her dogs, enjoying a good Hallmark movie.
